Join Us in Addressing Loneliness and Mental Well-being

Mental Health & Well Being 2024

SNJ Charitable Trust is dedicated to focusing on the grave concerns of mental health that we tend to ignore in our day-to-day lives and finding effective solutions for a better future ahead of us. We prioritize the seriousness of loneliness and how it adversely affects an individual’s well-being. Recently we have scheduled a stakeholders meeting on Thursday 21st March 2024 at 11.30 inviting highly professional psychologists and medical experts in this particular field. We are eager to discuss how we can support each other in tackling the Mental Health crisis in The Black Country.

The impact of timely counseling

Ignoring the early signs of mental health problems can lead to serious consequences. As per medical studies, it is necessary to address your psychological problems like physical pain and opt for professional help. Timely counseling is an important factor to ensure that you get the right help during challenging times. We offer timely & effective solution-based counseling to support people when they need it most. This also reduces the pressure on NHS services, Mental Health Services & PCNs.

SNJ’s Commitment to Mental Health

We have been delivering Counselling & Talking therapy by trained, qualified & experienced counselors since 2022.  We have worked with PCNs, Social Prescribing & Schools. We look forward to exchanging views & how we can work together.

Focus Areas

Is Loneliness a modern epidemic?

Recent studies have reflected that over one in four adults suffer from loneliness in the UK further leading to depression and heart diseases due to stress, hypertension, and overthinking. Loneliness can gradually cause a serious decline in cognitive abilities resulting in greater chances of Dementia. As responsible members of SNJ Trust, we are continuously spreading awareness about mental health.

Free Therapy from Charities

SNJ will give free counseling services to those who are suffering from mental health problems. We also consider talking therapy, befriending, and social prescribing for loneliness and depression-related issues. Our commitment to supporting mental health through charitable initiatives is unwavering.

Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression

Most of the time, people suffer from loneliness because there is hardly anyone to share their feelings with, and in such cases, Talking Therapy has proved to be an effective solution for treating anxiety and depression.

Befriending Counselling.

Befriending programs are a vital aspect of combating loneliness. We discuss the significance of befriending counseling in creating meaningful connections and providing emotional support.

Social Prescribing in the UK

Learn about the innovative concept of social prescribing and its role in improving mental health and well-being. SNJ Charitable Trust actively promotes social prescribing initiatives to complement traditional healthcare services.
